First Oral MS Drug Available for People with MS in the UK

Fingolimod the First Oral MS Tablet was approved yesterday for people in the UK. After review by NICE Fingolimod can now be considered as a second line treatment for people that may have failed with other MS medications like IV monthly treatments and daily injections. So a welcome relief and also increases choice.
Check out BBC Iplayer Radio Berkshire The Anne Diamond Show available until the 25th of April at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p002m92c To hear more and listen to my Interview about this exciting news.

Drag Racing & Multiple Sclerosis Feature on BBC Radio

Following my last interview with Jon Briggs, from The BBC's Weakest Link, on BBC Radio Berkshire I was invited back on Sunday the 27th of March to share a little more about my MS Story. Sarah Walker & Ady Williams talked to me about how it feels to live with MS and my interest in Drag Racing (The Fastest Motor Sport on Earth) at Santa Pod Race way and around the world! Sarah was keen to find out how you can start drag racing, what training is needed to get your license and Ady asking about the cars & different classes you can race in.
We also chatted about my other sporting interests such as Sailing with Sailing Ventures in Lymington Hampshire to support my aspiration to compete in some Yacht Racing this year to Raise Awareness about MS.
The interview is available on BBC IPlayer until Sunday the 3rd of April. Follow this link if you fancy listening. My piece starts after about 1:52 mins and finishes at around 2:24. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00fm18d/Debbie_McGee_Dragracing_and_Multiple_Sclerosis/
Thank you so much BBC Radio Berkshire and all of the fantastic team that helped to make this happen to help raise awareness about MS.

The British Drag Racing 2010 Season has been totally amazing with excitement on so many levels. Fantastic opportunities at the Santa Pod RaceTrack, On Air with Nitro FM Radio Station Radio (as their Roving Reporter) in the UK and while on The Nitro FM European Tour to Sweden & Germany To listen to my latest radio interviews & find further information about my mission to raise awareness of MS. Check out www.kazaston.com
After starting my Drag Racing training with Jon Webster & Gary Page (two Top British Drag Racing Legends) they agreed to safely progress learning to Drive a Dragster would be good.
So In October 2010 started my next training adventure with another acclaimed British Champion Paul Marston at his School of racing paulmarstonracing.com how fortunate am I.
Paul reviewed my 2010 experience in the Street Eliminator class to start my training to drive a Super Comp Dragster. After initial joint training shared with Ben Collins a well respected racing driver from Fifth gear, British Touring Cars also ex BBC Top Gear Stig Listen to Ben's interview at www.kazaston.com   Paul Marston gave the thumbs up to book further expert tuition with Frank Hawley frankhawley.com in America later this year. Additionally, special thanks to Shelley Pearson The Fastest British Female Racing Driver that has also given me wonderful encouragement and shared her invaluable knowledge and experience of Super Comp Dragster driving skills & training.

I would like to thank every one that has taken the time to help me progress with this wonderful opportunity. So many people have been so supportive and given their time to enable me to make these things happen. Will keep you posted on my racing progress & plans.   Take care all and please just email if you need. Kind Regards Kaz :0)
